Adt safewatch pro 3000 add user code10/23/2022 ![]() Neither of you addressed the infinite chirping, which started this little sojourn. So, what SHOULD I be pressing to properly exit programming mode ? Maybe *99 is correct, but I did something else I am not revealing ? So that won't clear my zone programming ? I suppose I am not THAT worried about losing them, but it doesn't seem like a great thing to lose, since I apparently don't have the right keypad to reprogram them. You both recommended that I ".cycle power completely (remove transformer and batt leads for about a min and reapply power)." Currently the display stays lit, showing 00 and "No AC".Ī) great because ALL SOUNDS have ceased, so we don't get woke up, but alsoī) awful because I don't really want to leave it in that state.Ī) Where do I start to get my system back into previous "normal" mode ?ī) Where do I acquire replacement fire alarms for this system ? Its almost like I need some kind of "Enter" key to tell it to Go, Start, Continue, etc, whatever (my computer programming background showing here). ADT SAFEWATCH PRO 3000 ADD USER CODE HOW TOI have the PDF manual from the ADT site - the picture in the PDF does not look like my keypad though, but all the text seems to indicate the correct system.Īnyway, based on what I have read here and in the manual, I have done the following:ġ) Discovered that the default master code still works, so tinkered with the programming, being CAREFUL not to reset to defaults As far as I know I did not actually change anything.Ģ) The battery tested good (I think) at about 15 or 16 volts.Ĥ) Got into programming mode by keying the default master code.ĥ) Discovered the Programming Guide and original installer notes with zone definitions, but never could coax the system into showing me the zone definitions on the keypad.ġ) Unclear how to go about pinning down what is causing the infinite chirpsĢ) Currently system seems disabled, as a result of my fumbling around - the Programming Guide indicates that when you are done programming, key *99 to exit, which I did, but I don't think it exited, or it exited to some unknown (to me ) state. I can shut it off by pressing any key, but it will do it again eventually, and has started waking us up at night. ![]() By normal I mean open doors/windows gave the short chirp as expected.Ībout 3 weeks ago it began sounding off at random times, I mean nonstop beeping at the keypad, not the alarm itself. It has kept on just functioning "normally" in spite of the above. No other error indicators, like No Bat, No AC, etc. Also, one fire alarm was removed months ago as it seemed to be malfunctioning (yes, I know I should have not let that situation lie), but it didn't seem to cause the overall system any grief, but now beginning to wonder how this is factoring into this current situation.įor as far back as I can remember, it has flashed the following on the display:ġ) FC (which I think means it is trying to phone the alarm service people)Ģ) 99 (I think that means some entry location or smoke alarm is malfunctioning). The system has only one keypad, not alpha, only 4 programmable buttons on the left side of console, and the standard numeric pad. Seemed like an OK thing, so just lived with it. ADT SAFEWATCH PRO 3000 ADD USER CODE WINDOWSWe moved in in April 2005, I did not sign up for monitoring, and just let the doors and windows chirp when opened. I have a house built in 2002 that has an ADT Safewatch Pro 3000. ![]()
